What we store on your device, why, and how to change it.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time, and they can be used to measure how the site is used.
Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function. Others are optional and are only set if you consent to them.
Categories we use
Analytics is active from the moment you arrive. We want to be direct about that rather than bury it: the two Google Analytics cookies above are set on your first page view, without waiting for you to press anything. A notice appears at the bottom of the screen telling you so.
You can switch it off at any time — press “Turn analytics off” in that notice, or use the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. When you do, measurement stops immediately and the analytics cookies already stored on your device are deleted. Your choice is remembered, so you will not be measured on later visits either.
What we do not do, in any state: advertising cookies, retargeting, social-media tracking, or sharing your visit with advertisers. Google advertising signals are switched off at the configuration level, not merely left unused.

Third parties
We deliberately keep third-party requests to a minimum. Fonts are served from our own servers rather than a content delivery network, so that visiting this site does not disclose your IP address to a third party you did not choose.
Google Analytics is the only third party that receives any data from this website, and it receives it from your first page view onwards unless you switch analytics off. What it receives is the page you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you used.
Google advertising signals are switched off, so your visit is never used to build an advertising profile and is never shared with advertisers. IP addresses are anonymised by Google Analytics 4 as standard and are not stored. Google processes this data as described in its own privacy terms, which may involve transfer outside your country.

Managing cookies
Use the Cookie settings link at the foot of any page. It reopens the cookie notice, where “Turn analytics off” stops measurement immediately and deletes the analytics cookies already on your device. The choice is stored in your browser and applies to every later visit from that browser.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a “Do Not Track” or tracking-protection setting. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site — such as the contact form — from working.
